Grades K - 5 Grades 9 - 12 Special Education Teacher - Twin Falls, ID

This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) focuses on serving students in grades K-12 who have a wide range of disabilities, from mild to medically fragile. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work collaboratively within a dedicated team to provide individualized support and instruction.

Qualifications:

• Valid Idaho State Teacher Certification with Special Education Endorsement required
• Experience in special education (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with families, staff, and administration
• Flexibility and adaptability to serve students with varying needs and severities
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for IEP management

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs
• Deliver engaging lessons and differentiated instruction to students in grades K-12 across a spectrum of disabilities
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies for optimal growth
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that promotes learning and independence
