Special Education Teachers Needed – Twin Falls, Idaho area

A district in the Twin Falls, ID area is seeking multiple full-time Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. These are onsite-only positions serving students across K–12 grade levels.

Position Details:

• Location: Twin Falls, Idaho area
• Contract Dates: August 20, 2026 – May 26, 2027
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Grade Levels: K–12, depending on district needs
• Setting: Onsite only
• Caseload: Students with mild, moderate, and severe disabilities, including medically fragile students

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction
• Modify curriculum and classroom materials based on student needs
• Track student progress and maintain required documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Support students with daily living needs, including toileting when required
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Requirements

• Active Idaho teaching certification
• Valid Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate or appropriate Special Education endorsement
• Previous ERC experience preferred
• Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities and support needs
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal-care responsibilities
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
