Special Education Teacher in Union, SC

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Current and valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) teaching license in a recognized special education area (such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities)
• Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong teamwork skills for collaboration with educational staff and families
• Excellent organizational abilities and commitment to individualized instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to K-12 students according to IEP requirements
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
