Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource support in reading, math, and other core academic areas for students with diverse learning needs in both push-in and pull-out settings.
• Design and implement individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, adapting strategies to meet each student’s unique strengths and challenges.
• Foster student success in general education classrooms through effective co-teaching and ongoing consultation with classroom teachers.
• Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and monitor outcomes to inform instruction and meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to timely and accurate compliance documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid (or pending) South Carolina Special Education certification.
• Previous experience in resource or inclusion classroom settings.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of colleagues and families.
• Ability to provide academic and behavioral support tailored to students at the high school level.
