In this position, you will work with students in the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program, facilitating learning experiences that cater to individual strengths and needs. With student hours from 8:10am to 3:25pm and a supportive structure, this is a chance to foster growth and success for exceptional learners.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Texas General Education and Special Education Certification is required.
• Previous experience in a self-contained special education or ECSE classroom setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in designing and adapting curriculum for diverse learners.
• Ability to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a supportive, structured classroom that encourages student engagement and achievement.
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs.
• Manage classroom behavior and facilitate a safe, inclusive environment.
• Collect data and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and collaborate with support staff.
