Special Education Teacher - Upper Darby, PA

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure for the assigned caseload (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (required to obtain emergency teaching permit)
• Previous experience in a school environment, preferably within urban settings
• Demonstrated expertise in special education content, instructional techniques, and classroom resources
• Familiarity with current state and district standards for lesson planning and assessments
• Exceptional classroom and behavioral management skills
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start date
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for onsite responsibilities within the 8:30AM-4:00PM time window
• Willingness and ability to work the assigned schedule—schedule accommodations are not available
• Confidence and adaptability within diverse school communities
