Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure for the assigned caseload (required)
- Bachelor’s degree (required to obtain emergency teaching permit)
- Previous experience in a school environment, preferably within urban settings
- Demonstrated expertise in special education content, instructional techniques, and classroom resources
- Familiarity with current state and district standards for lesson planning and assessments
- Exceptional classroom and behavioral management skills
- Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start date
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for onsite responsibilities within the 8:30AM-4:00PM time window
- Willingness and ability to work the assigned schedule—schedule accommodations are not available
- Confidence and adaptability within diverse school communities
