Two positions are currently available, both set to begin as soon as possible and extend through the end of the academic year in June 2027.

Your expertise will be vital in crafting engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards, utilizing formative assessment and differentiation to meet diverse learners’ needs. Your command of classroom and behavioral management will foster a nurturing, productive environment. The ability to work seamlessly between 8:30AM and 4PM and adapt to the rhythms of an urban educational setting is essential.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure for special education required
• Bachelor’s degree (essential for emergency teaching permit)
• Previous experience in a school setting
• Mastery of subject matter and effective instructional practice
• Comfortable working onsite, in district, without schedule adjustments
• Demonstrated strength in classroom and behavioral management
• Understanding and experience in urban education
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
