Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Certification for K-4 required
• Previous classroom experience or student teaching in a special education setting preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Dedicated to differentiating instruction and collaborating with educational teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to students in K-4 in both group and one-on-one settings
• Maintain accurate student records and document progress regularly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and outside agencies
