Special Education Teacher - Usaf Academy, Colorado

Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing essential support during a maternity leave coverage as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. This 65-day contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid setting for four days a week. While your direct services and assessments will take place in person, enjoy the flexibility of handling paperwork and IEP meetings remotely. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the state of Colorado
• Experience in Early Childhood Special Education preferred
• Strong ability to foster inclusive, supportive classroom environments
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
• Comfort with technology for hybrid work (virtual meetings, digital documentation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education services and assessments on-site
• Participate in the development, implementation, and tracking of IEPs
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Complete paperwork and IEP meetings remotely as needed
• Support student growth in accordance with individual learning goals
• Travel to multiple school locations as scheduled
