Pre K Special Education Teacher in Valley, AL

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (PreK level)
• Experience adapting curriculum for young learners with diverse needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Genuine passion for early childhood development and inclusive practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage a PreK inclusion classroom, fostering an engaging, supportive atmosphere
• Adapt and differentiate lesson plans to accommodate both IEP goals and general curriculum
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals to implement individualized strategies and facilitate classroom routines
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to assess progress
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Support each child’s social and emotional growth, encouraging a love for learning
