The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to differentiated instruction and evidence-based strategies tailored for students with moderate/severe needs or extensive support requirements. Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential in Moderate/Severe Disabilities or Extensive Support Needs
• Experience or strong interest in K-12 special education environments
• Ability to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for advocating for students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and service providers

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans for students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Adapt curriculum materials and modify instruction to fit each student’s unique strengths and challenges
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom climate
• Track student progress and maintain detailed educational records
• Work in partnership with general education teachers and support staff
• Engage in regular IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school events
