Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with high school-aged students, especially those with significant needs or disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

• Adaptable, patient, and creative approach to lesson planning and instruction

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to the unique strengths and challenges of each student
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure compliance and student success
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, service providers, and families to promote a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Employ strategies and interventions that encourage academic, behavioral, and social growth
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, participation, and intervention effectiveness
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
