As an LBSI Elementary Self-Contained Special Education Teacher, you’ll make a difference in a small classroom of 7-8 fourth and fifth graders. Qualifications:

  • Licensure in Special Education (LBSI or equivalent required)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a self-contained classroom for 4th-5th grade students, developing individualized education plans
  • Implement specialized curricula (such as Unique or STAR)
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals in a building dedicated exclusively to self-contained classrooms
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
