This position offers two unique opportunities: one Preschool/LD Teacher (learning disabilities focus) and one teacher for students with moderate needs. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with preschool-aged children and/or students with mild to moderate learning disabilities
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Skilled in differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, colleagues, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress reports and IEP updates
- Utilize assessment data to guide instruction and interventions
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports student growth academically, socially, and emotionally
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with staff and administration
