Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Michigan Special Education teaching certification (required)
• Previous experience with resource classrooms or individualized education plans (IEPs) is highly preferred

• Organizational skills to document progress, develop lesson plans, and collaborate with general education staff
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, caregivers, and staff teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students in resource classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans in alignment with district and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Maintain regular documentation and progress reporting to meet compliance requirements
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence
