6th Grade 5th Grade Special Education Teacher in Wagener, SC

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification in Special Education teaching

• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management, differentiation, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain flexibility in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specially tailored lessons that address students’ unique needs and promote academic success
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented
• Track and report student progress toward meeting IEP goals, maintaining accurate and confidential records
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom climate encouraging both academic and personal development
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other collaborative activities as required
