Key Qualifications

• Active state certification or licensure in Special Education
• Prior experience in elementary special education settings preferred
• Demonstrated skill in developing, updating, and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Comfortable conducting and participating in IEP meetings
• Strong communication abilities with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Committed to working onsite, Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, update, and maintain IEPs in compliance with regulations
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with families and support staff
• Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all special education requirements are met
