  • Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility and creativity in adapting to students’ diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and individualized support to K-12 students with varying abilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school support staff to support inclusive practices and differentiated instruction.
  • Encourage a positive, structured classroom culture that promotes learning and social skill development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on student progress, behavior, and goals.
  • Communicate regularly with families to share student achievements and discuss strategies for continued success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and school initiatives.
