You'll be working primarily in a resource room environment, engaging with both self-contained and resource students to help them reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Arkansas Special Education License
  • Experience supporting K-12 students with IEPs preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs
  • Dedication to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve a caseload of approximately 21 students (subject to change), delivering instruction tailored to individual goals and accommodations
  • Teach in a resource room setting, addressing a diverse range of needs from self-contained to resource-level support
  • Implement specialized instructional strategies and interventions to promote academic and social growth
  • Develop, review, and revise IEPs in partnership with staff and families
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting supports as needed
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators
  • Create a structured, supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth

This role offers a consistent full-time schedule with hours from 7:35 AM to 3:10 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. You'll become a valued resource for students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve meaningful success.
