Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Prior experience teaching or supporting students with diverse abilities, learning differences, or behavioral needs is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, both with students and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable and resourceful, able to modify instruction to address unique student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with special needs
• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in small group or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success and integration
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and report on academic, behavioral, and social development
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies and tools to accommodate students’ varied learning styles
