Special Education Teacher - Wallace, SC

Role Highlights:

• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, working onsite at a local primary school.
• Serve as an Early Childhood PCD Teacher for 3-4-year-olds, or an ID Mild/Moderate Self-Contained Teacher for K-3 students, depending on your certification.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with a range of abilities.
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support individualized education plans and student growth.
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal documentation and reporting requirements.

Qualifications Sought:

• BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification are required for the EC PCD Teacher assignment.
• Active South Carolina Teaching License is mandatory.
• SPED Multi-Categorical (Multi-Cat) endorsement required for the K-3 assignment.
• Strong adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience or training working with self-contained or early childhood special education classrooms is preferred.
