Pre-School Pre K Special Education Teacher - Walpole, Massachusetts

An opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to cover a medical leave in an integrated preschool program near Walpole, MA. Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education (SPED) teaching license at the Preschool level
• Previous experience working in pre-K or preschool settings
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and individualized educational planning
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with varying abilities

Role Duties:

• Provide direct instruction and implement IEPs within an integrated preschool classroom
• Develop and adapt lessons to address students’ individual growth, social-emotional development, and academic needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote an inclusive atmosphere
• Utilize evidence-based strategies, positive behavior support, and age-appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with district and state special education regulations
• Build strong relationships with students and families to encourage participation and success

This position offers a competitive starting pay of $45/hr, with a Monday-Friday schedule of 7 hours per day, ensuring both consistent routine for students and work-life balance for educators.
