As an essential member of a multidisciplinary educational team, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support student growth in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance and effectiveness of interventions
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Desired experience and qualifications include:

• Valid New York State Special Education Teacher certification for the assigned grade levels
• Master’s degree in Education
• Experience working with students from PreK to grade 12
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
