Position Details

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
• Adapt instructional strategies and classroom materials as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active South Carolina Professional Teaching Certificate with Special Education certification.
• Eligible for or currently holding certification through the South Carolina Department of Education.
• Must meet all state and district credentialing requirements.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
