• Experience or strong interest in working with high school students (grades 9 & 10)
• Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and customized instruction

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach and support a dedicated caseload of 9th and 10th grade students, adapting instruction to individual learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, faculty, and support staff to deliver co-teaching or resource support models
• Regularly track and report student progress, making adjustments to strategies as needed
• Foster positive relationships with both students and their families
• Promote classroom participation, independence, and social-emotional growth
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations

Schedule & Contract:

• Choice of 5-day (37.5 hours/week) or 4-day (30 hours/week) work week
• School hours: 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
