This full-time special education teaching position is based onsite in Warren, MI, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in either an early childhood or high school special education classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Collaborate with general education staff and families to support student success
- Implement behavior and academic interventions as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
- Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), or willingness to obtain and maintain certification annually
- Experience working with students with special needs is preferred
