Special Education Teacher - Warren, MI

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-recognized)
• Proven experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
• Deep understanding of IEP development and compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt general education lessons and curriculum to meet student needs
• Utilize varied instructional strategies and technologies to engage students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Track progress and maintain accurate records of student achievement
• Facilitate communication among families, administrators, and support teams
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages growth
