Special Education Teacher | Warren, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state requirements apply)
• Previous classroom experience supporting students with disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage diverse learning needs and maintain an engaging classroom
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral supports

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with IEP goals and state standards
• Assess student progress, adapt instruction, and provide regular feedback
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
