Special Education Teacher - Warren, MI

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized academic instruction in alignment with IEP goals
• Provide targeted interventions and differentiation based on student needs
• Implement and monitor accommodations and modifications
• Maintain accurate student records and routinely assess progress
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support personnel
• Contribute to IEP development, meetings, and ongoing case management
• Support the academic and behavioral development of students with unique learning profiles

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education certification (ASD, EI, CI, or LD endorsements)
• Previous experience in a resource classroom setting highly valued
• Strong skills in IEP writing, case management, and progress monitoring
• Ability to foster positive relationships and promote student independence
• Effective communicator and team-oriented professional

Assignment Specifics:

• Location: Hazel Park, Michigan (near Warren)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week (7.5-hour days)
• Assignment runs from ASAP through June 4, 2027
