Licensed Grades K - 5 Special Education Teacher - Warren, MI

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement
• Experience or interest in early childhood, elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
• Ability to create a positive classroom culture and encourage student growth
• Previous school or contract experience preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and accommodations based on each student’s specific needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support providers, and administrators

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in special education
