Key Qualifications:

• Active teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with students in early childhood, Grades K-5, Grades 6-8, and/or Grades 9-12
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues and families
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to address different learning styles and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Assess students’ skills and track progress toward educational goals
• Support students in inclusive and self-contained classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support students’ integration
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation as required
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
