Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education, eligible for Pre-K assignments
• Experience working with early childhood or Pre-K students, especially those with mild to moderate exceptional needs
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
• Commitment to maintaining student privacy and adhering to compliance standards
• Must complete fingerprinting requirements specific to Pre-K settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify curriculum to align with students’ unique needs
• Provide direct instruction and support for a caseload of 13 pre-K students
• Collect data to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom community
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other support staff
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student development and progress
• Document and maintain necessary records for compliance and reporting
