You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, providing hands-on instruction for a self-contained, non-severe caseload at the middle school level, and resource support for elementary students in grades K-5. Your expertise will make a real difference to students at critical stages of their educational journey.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification for the state
  • Previous experience supporting students in resource or self-contained settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
  • Strong classroom management and collaborative skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group instruction for students with diverse needs
  • Develop, implement, and track personalized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and timely reports for student progress
  • Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
