Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification

  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation, progress monitoring, and adapting curriculum to individual needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized education plans that address students’ specific learning needs
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, parents, and support staff to foster student success
  • Utilize evidence-based teaching methods and accommodations to promote academic and social-emotional growth
  • Track and document student progress, making timely adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
