What We’re Looking For:

• Valid RIDE certification in Elementary Grades Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessments and student needs
• Successful completion of state and national background checks (BCI)
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt instructional strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, individualized instruction and intervention to elementary students with special needs
• Assess student abilities and tailor learning plans to support academic and personal growth
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with IEP goals and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional approaches as necessary
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth
