Special Education Teacher | Waseca, Minnesota

This contracted role spans both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the 2026-2027 academic year, focusing on helping students achieve success through personalized instruction tailored to their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license (ABS, ASD, EBD, SLD, or equivalent required)
• Prior experience in 1:1 instructional settings is highly desirable
• Demonstrated strength in communication and collaboration with colleagues and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction to meet IEP objectives for assigned student(s)
• Track student progress meticulously and complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture that supports learning and growth
• Collaborate actively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure coordinated support and student success
