Qualifications & Experience

• Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher License
• Additional certifications as required by state and school
• Experience with CT-SEDS platform strongly preferred
• Proven background in instructing and inspiring students requiring individualized education plans
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district protocols
• Communicate consistently with families and support staff to maximize student progress
• Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reporting, and curriculum adaptations as needed
