Special Education Teacher - Waterbury, CT

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of K-5 students on the autism spectrum
• Creating a structured, supportive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Collaborating with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators
• Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and maintaining accurate records
• Communicating regularly with families to support student success
• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant district and state regulations
