You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 25 students, collaborating closely with general education teachers to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Your daily responsibilities will include writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tracking student progress, providing direct instructional support, and conducting student assessments. You will play a pivotal role by attending and presenting at IEP meetings, ensuring each student’s unique needs are addressed in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement (candidates with DSAPs will also be considered)
• At least 2 years of recent classroom teaching experience
• Strong background in writing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
