Special Ed Teacher | Waterbury, Connecticut

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in a school setting located in Waterbury, CT. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys through tailored instruction and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and state standards
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive practices
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and evaluations
