This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students at the middle and high school levels, ensuring they receive the individualized support they deserve. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational environment, joining teams committed to student growth and success.

Successful candidates will fill one of three available roles:

  • Middle school in-person Special Educator providing both services and case management.
  • Middle school in-person Special Educator focusing on direct services and collaborating with a remote Case Coordinator.
  • High school in-person Special Educator managing both service provision and case management responsibilities.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

  • Hold valid state credentials required for Special Education teaching.
  • Previous experience supporting students with diverse educational needs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to in-person engagement—remote options are not available for these roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs.
  • Manage and monitor IEP goals and ensure compliance with educational standards.
  • Collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff to foster student achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records and document progress.
  • Provide compassionate advocacy for students at every level.

This role offers the balance of a set weekly schedule—37.5 hours per week—and the satisfaction of creating improved educational outcomes for students. The contract will run from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, allowing you to play an integral role throughout the school year.
