Special Education Teacher - Waterford, CT

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized lessons according to student IEPs in a self-contained classroom
• Develop and adapt curriculum to support academic and social success for neuro-diverse learners
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and stimulating classroom culture
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to meet student goals
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Maintain compliance with all special education documentation and processes
