Qualifications:

• Valid Maine teaching license for elementary age groups
• Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience supporting students in K-2, especially with SLD, preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with young children and collaborating with families and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction for students with Specific Learning Disabilities in an elementary K-2 setting
• Create and adapt lesson plans designed to develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom that encourages engagement and growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
