Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Demonstrated experience working with high school students with diverse learning needs
- Strong background and instructional knowledge in ELA content and teaching strategies
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Previous contract teaching experience is valued but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated ELA instruction to high school learners with special needs

- Assess student progress regularly and maintain detailed documentation per state and federal guidelines
