• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that adhere to both IDEA and Illinois state regulations
• Utilize strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills to build positive partnerships with colleagues, parents, and administrators
• Employ up-to-date educational methodologies and instructional techniques tailored to diverse learners
• Stay informed on theories and practices in child development, ensuring students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement (LBS1)
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Solid understanding of educational and instructional best practices
• Commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive learning environment
