Elementary Grades K - 5 Special Education Teacher in Waukesha, WI

In this role, you will provide dedicated support to an elementary caseload, collaborating with colleagues and service providers to craft individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum as needed. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, for a total of 37.5 hours per week, ensuring students receive consistent instruction and guidance.

Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching license with certification in Special Education (required)
• Demonstrated experience teaching K-5 or working with elementary-aged students
• Background working with moderate/severe needs in inclusive and specialized settings
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction tailored to diverse student needs
• Develop, monitor, and document progress on IEP goals and objectives
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
