This contract opportunity focuses on Special Education within an Early Learning Center and involves guiding students in a four-year-old kindergarten setting during morning sessions. The position also provides itinerant services and could include supporting the 3-year-old program as needed.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching certification and appropriate endorsements in Special Education
• Experience working with early childhood populations, ideally within preschool or kindergarten
• Strong understanding of early intervention strategies and IEPs
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and create inclusive classroom environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction for students in the morning four-year-old kindergarten session
• Provide itinerant special education services across programs, with flexibility to assist in the three-year-old program
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and accommodations based on IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support holistic student development
• Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional growth
• Foster a welcoming, supportive environment where all early learners can thrive
