Desired Qualifications:
- Active New York State Special Education Teaching license, including all required endorsements and certifications
- Previous experience in special education or working with students with Emotional Disabilities (ED) preferred

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues, students, and families

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction for students in grades 11-12 with emotional disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring goals align with each student's needs
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and regularly communicate updates to team members and families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom climate supporting the academic and personal growth of all learners
