Life Skills Special Education Teacher – Weatherford, TX

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is hiring a Life Skills SPED Teacher to lead a classroom serving students with developmental, adaptive, and academic needs. The teacher will support IEP development, behavior plans, and independent-living skill growth.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction in life skills, communication, and functional academics

• Implement behavior supports and structured classroom routines

• Collaborate with related service providers and paraprofessionals

• Track student data, maintain IEP documentation, and report progress

• Communicate with families and staff on student needs and successes

Requirements:

• Active Texas SPED Teaching Certification

• Prior experience teaching in a life-skills or self-contained SPED environment preferred

• Strong teamwork, behavior management, and instructional planning skills

Compensation & Benefits:
? $38–$45/hour
