Qualifications:

• Current Texas Special Education EC-12 certification
• Texas High School Math teaching certification
• Experience working in a self-contained SPED classroom (preferred)
• Knowledge of high school math curriculum and modifications for special needs students
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based math lessons tailored to individual students’ needs and IEP goals
• Manage a self-contained classroom in compliance with both school and district special education requirements
