Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Certification (Instructional I or II), or ability to obtain prior to the start date
• Emergency or out-of-state certification is not accepted
• Experience working with middle school students preferred, especially within emotional support or similar environments
• Ability to maintain consistency, structure, and flexibility while managing classroom expectations
• Skilled in establishing predictable routines and leveraging positive reinforcement strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with colleagues, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized and effective instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Establish routines that foster a safe, supportive, and predictable environment for emotional support students
• Collaborate with a committed team of educators, counselors, and support staff
• Create and maintain clear documentation on student progress, participation, and strategies implemented
