Special Ed Teacher - West Chester, Pennsylvania

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to support early childhood classrooms within the Delaware County IU 25 district. This role involves working 37.5 hours per week to provide specialized instruction and support for young learners with diverse needs.

Location:

• Broomall, Pennsylvania
• Two classroom placements: Aston Early Childhood Education Center in Aston and Folcroft Campus in Folcroft

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students in early childhood special education
• Manage and support a caseload spanning two classrooms
• Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with early childhood educational populations preferred
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and team members
• Ability to manage multiple classrooms and work independently within the school environment
